Frequently asked questions
What is Cadence Prints?
Cadence Prints turns your own GPS activities into a custom map poster. You connect Strava or upload GPX files, design the map in your browser, and we print it to order on 200gsm matte art paper and ship it to you for free.
What if I don't have a Strava account?
You don't need one. Upload GPX or KML files instead, which can be exported from most fitness tracking devices and apps, such as Garmin Connect and Komoot.
Which activities can I print?
Any activity with a GPS track: rides, runs, hikes, ski tours, and more. A print can show a single route, such as a marathon or a bikepacking trip, or many activities layered together as a heatmap of a whole year.
What can I customize?
You choose the activities, one of six map styles (Mono Light, Mono Dark, Pantone, Classic, Gyroscope, and Tour), the route and text colors, portrait or landscape orientation, and the size. Optional overlays add a title, subtitle, stats such as distance, duration, and speed or pace, an elevation profile, and a QR code.
What sizes are available and how much do they cost?
Unframed prints: 12 x 16 in (30 x 40 cm) is $39, 16 x 20 in (40 x 50 cm) is $45, 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm) is $55, 28 x 40 in (70 x 100 cm) is $79. Framed prints: 12 x 16 in (30 x 40 cm) is $119, 16 x 20 in (40 x 50 cm) is $149, 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm) is $169, 28 x 40 in (70 x 100 cm) is $249. A digital file to print yourself is $20. All prices are in US dollars and include shipping.
Do you offer framed prints?
Yes. Every size is available in a black wood frame with a plexiglass front, mounted and ready to hang, or as an unframed print if you would rather frame it yourself.
Can I buy a digital file instead of a print?
Yes. A high-resolution digital image is $20 and is available in the same sizes as the prints, plus A3.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is always free.

How do gift cards work?
Choose an amount on the gift card page and enter the recipient's email address and an optional note. The recipient is emailed a code with redemption instructions, then designs their own map and redeems the code when ordering.
How do you secure my credit card details?
Payments are handled by Stripe using certified, secure encryption. Cadence Prints never sees or stores your credit card details.
Do you offer returns or refunds?
